Camptivity started at a kitchen table, not a boardroom. Like a lot of families, ours ran on chore charts and reminders that slowly turned every day into a series of small battles — and turned us into the people doing the nagging.

We wanted the opposite of a cold, transactional chore tracker. We wanted the feeling of summer camp: a place that’s warm, playful and a little bit magical, where doing the right thing feels like part of an adventure instead of a demand. So we built it — and made the parent the “Camp Director,” turned chores into themed-day activities, and let good choices earn real prizes the kids actually care about.

What we believe

• Encouragement beats enforcement. Kids rise to a game they want to play, not a list they’re told to finish.
• The whole crew matters. Parents, grandparents, nannies and sitters should all be able to keep the day running the same way.
• Your family’s data is yours. Camptivity is local-first and private. We don’t sell data, and we never will.
• Simple wins. If it takes more than five minutes to set up, it won’t survive a real Tuesday.

A note from the parent who built it

Hi — I'm a dad of three, and Camptivity came out of my own kitchen table. I was tired of being the human reminder app, and I wanted my kids to want to do the right thing instead of being told to. So I built the tool I wished existed: warm, playful, and simple enough to survive a real Tuesday.

Camptivity is independently made and actively improved based on what real families tell me. Your family's data stays yours — local-first and private, never sold. And if you have an idea, a wish, or something that isn't working, I genuinely want to hear it.
